10/29/08 - We have a bunch of great announcements in this update.  First, we will be playing a Halloween show this Friday in NYC at Sullivan Hall alongside out good friends the Josh Dion Band. Tickets for the Halloween show can be purchased here. Josh will then be returning the favor by opening for us at World Cafe Live on November 14th.  This is a huge show for the band as it marks the release of our first live album.  Pick up your tickets now as the show will be amazing and it will be the first opportunity to pick up the new album.  Hope to see you there!

9/15/08 -   For all of our Philly fans out there, come check us out this Friday, September 19th, at West Chester's hottest new venue, The Note.  The Note is located on Market Street in West Chester and is owned by Mr. Jackass himself, Bam Margera.   We have the privelage of being only the second band to grace the venue's stage but if the first night is any indication, the place should be packed.  So, come show us your support, hope to see you there!

9/12/08 -   Sorry for the last minute nature of this announcement but our Rocks Off Concert Cruise in NYC on 9/13 has been canceled.  Sorry for any inconvenience this cause and if you purchased a ticket in advance, contact the box office for a refund.  We will be making a return on NYC soon so stay tuned for that announcement.  Again, sorry for the late cancelation and we will see you all soon. 

8/22/08 -   Sorry for the long delay since our last news post but we came back with some good announcements for you.  First, we have one of our coolest shows ever coming up in September as we climb aboard the Rocks Off Boat Cruise in NYC.  It's a 4 hour boat cruise around New York harbor from midnight till 4AM and features the band playing during the whole cruise.  The show is on Sept 13th and the he tickets can be purchased by clicking here.  Also, stayed tuned in Sept/Oct for the release of our first live album, recorded at Zeno's in State College.  It's currently being mixed and should be out in the near future so keep checking back.   Also, coming up in November we make our headlining return to World Cafe Live in Philly so stay tuned for more details on that as well.  Finally, we'd like to leave you by saying The Blue Method will miss two of our favorite musicians who passed recently, the great Isaac Hayes and the amazing Leroi Moore from DMB, rest in peace.  

7/7/08 - We are excited to announce two amazing shows coming up in the next two weeks.  First, we have been chosen to perform at the All Good Music Festival this coming weekend in Masontown, WV.   The band will be performing on the Ropeadope stage at 3:30 PM on Friday, July 11th.  To make things even better, we will be joined on stage by our friend Grace Potter so if you are headed down to All Good, don't miss our set!.  We apologize to our fans in VT and MA as we will be rescheduling our shows there and will be returning to the NE soon.   Also, on Friday, July 18th, the band will be returning to the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC.  The show starts at midnight with tickets only $8.00.  See you there!

6/11/08 - It's time to bring our blend of Philly funk /soul / blues back to two of our favorite cities.  We will be returning to NYC on Friday June 13th with a headlining gig at Crash Mansion.  TBM hits at 11:00 PM so don't miss out.  Also, the band will hitting up a new Philadelphia venue called The M Room on Friday, June 20th.  The venue has given us the opportunity to have the whole night to ourselves with two sets so come show us love in this cool new venue.   The show starts at 9:00 and tickets can be purchased here. 5/1/08 - Don't forget our big show this Friday, May 2nd with the Josh Dion Band at the Highline Ballroom in NYC.  It's their CD Release party so come check them out then stick around for some Blue Method funk!   Also, coming up the following weekend, we are thrilled to announce that we will be recording our first official live CD at Zenos Pub in State College, PA.  We will be playing both Friday May 9th and Saturday May 10th but get there early because the place will be packed!  We need out loudest most supportive fans there to show us love on the recording.  Finally, for our Philly fans, on May 17th we will be returning to World Cafe Live as part of The Juggling Suns special "In Through The Twilight" stage production.   Also on on the bill are Monacy and Bodega so it's going to be a night of music not to miss!  Tickets can be purchased here.  See you soon.

4/16/08 - CORRECTION - Sorry for any confusion but the band will not be playing Sully's Pub on 5/3.  Instead, they will be heading down to VA to play Whitlows's on Wilson.  On a more positive note, check out our facebook page for pictures and a video montage from The WXPN Beggars Banquet where the band was joined on stage by the amazing Grace Potter.

3/10/08 - Come check us out in NYC at a very cool venue called Crash Mansion.  The band hits at 10:00 PM so we would love all our NYC fans to come out and show support.  Also, for our Philly fans, come see us on March 28th at the North Star Bar, should be a great show!

1/10/08 - We are full of updates this week!   We wanted to let our fans know that you can now find our music on Pandora, an amazing internet radio service.  For those of you who don't know what it is, you pick artists you like listening to and Pandora builds a radio station around that style of music.  It's great and the best part is, it's free.  So, head on over to the Pandora website and create your own Blue Method radio station!  Also, don't forget to pick up your tickets to the February 9th show at World Cafe Live.  Our good friends Natural Selection and The Josh Dion Band will be opening so it's definitely  a show not to be missed. 

1/7/08 - Happy New Years to all The Blue Method fans out there.  We have a huge show coming up at World Cafe Live on Saturday, February 9th.  We did such a great job there last time, they are even opening up the balcony seating for us so we REALLY need to pack the place!  Tickets can be purchased by clicking here so hurry up and get a ticket and bring a friend.  The show starts at 7:30 PM with opening bands to be announced.  Also, there are a few new shows available for download.  The first is our WXPN rebroadcast from the members only party we played at World Cafe Live on 10/26/07 and the second is our most recent Grape Street show from 12/27/07.  Check them out and make sure to leave some reviews! 

12/21/07 - No New Years plans yet?  Why not spend it with The Blue Method.  The band will be playing at the Ocean City, MD hotspot Castaway's on NYE and it will only cost you $30 for a night with TBM and an open bar, how can you pass that up?  Also, the band will be returning to Grape Street on 12/27 with our good friend's The Josh Dion Band.  The show starts at 10:00 PM but make you sure you get there early and check out Josh.  Also, we are making our debut at the legendary Blue Note in NYC on 1/5. We are playing the late show which gets rolling around midnight so grab a table reservation for $8.00 and spend the night with The Blue Method.  Finally, check out a recent live recording from The Thunderbird Cafe in Pittsburgh.  Have a great holiday and we hope to see you all soon!
